Corporate Social Responsibility and Organisational Productivity
S.I. Dugguh
Abstract
Apart from producing goods and services that satisfy social
needs, organisations are expected to assist the society in
many other ways. The recognition of the impact of business
activities on the society and the consideration of that impact
in decision making is the theme of this paper. Managers
must make sure that their organisations consider the
customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, creditors, and
the larger public in decision making. Considering the society
in corporate decision making will lead to a better society
and increase performance and productivity.
