Benue State University, Makurdi

Benue State University (BSU) has been distinguished as Partner of the Year for 2024 by the Benue State Football Association (BSFA) in recognition of its significant contributions towards promoting sports within the region. The award was presented during a ceremony on January 3, 2025, commemorating 48 years of football excellence in Benue State, at the BIK Entertainment Hub in Makurdi.
Professor Tor Joe Iorapuu, the Vice-Chancellor of BSU, was acknowledged for the university's essential involvement in supporting the local football community. The award was accepted on his behalf by Professor Charles Iortimah. Professor Iorapuu officially received the accolade from Professor Iortimah on January 7, 2025, reaffirming the university's dedication to fostering sportsmanship and community engagement in Benue State.
