The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a comprehensive framework for addressing pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges worldwide. They are designed to guide global efforts to achieve sustainable development by 2030 and provide a shared blueprint for governments, organizations, and individuals to work together toward a more equitable, prosperous, and sustainable future.

The success of these developments depends on an educated population.

The paper also recommends that in view of the invaluable role of teachers in the life of any nation, the government should increase the funding of teacher education sector by devoting a minimum of 30% of its annual budget on the training and professional development of teachers through in-service training, seminars, conferences, workshops on ICT programs and provision of infrastructural facilities.
