Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the preliminary science programme for the 2025/2026 academic session, starting from Friday, 15th August 2025.

Entry Requirements
  1. Candidates must possess NECO/WAEC results or GCE Ordinary Level (or equivalent), with Credit Passes in at least four (4) subjects at not more than two sittings. Three (3) must be core science subjects (Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology).
  2. Admission is strictly based on results submitted at application time (No awaiting results).
  3. Candidates admitted with less than five (5) credits must make up five (5) O'Level credit passes (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) before graduating from the programme.
Method of Application

Application is strictly online. Follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the official portal at www.bsum.edu.ng.
  2. Under Applications, make payment for the application fee of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000) only.
  3. After payment, return to www.bsum.edu.ng, click "Admission", and select "Continue Application REMS".
  4. Fill out and print the application form.
  5. Submit the printed form with photocopies of credentials (O'Level result, Indigene certificate, birth certificate, two passport photos, and receipt) to the Preliminary Science Office.
CLOSING DATE: Applications close on 30th September 2026.
