Ethical Standards BJSS adheres to the highest standards of academic integrity and expects all contributors to follow ethical guidelines, including: • Originality and Plagiarism: Submissions must be original and unpublished elsewhere. All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism before the review process. • Authorship: All individuals who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors, and no one should be included without consent. • Data Transparency and Integrity: Authors are expected to present accurate data and disclose any conflicts of interest. • Ethical Treatment of Subjects: Research involving human subjects must follow ethical protocols, including informed consent and respect for privacy. 5. Open Access and Licensing: BJSS is committed to open access publishing. All published articles are freely available online, allowing wider dissemination and impact. Authors retain copyright but grant BJSS a nonexclusive license to publish and distribute the work. 6. Appeal and Complaint Process Authors who wish to appeal editorial decisions may submit a formal appeal, which will be reviewed by the editorial board. Complaints or concerns about editorial decisions will be handled impartially, and the editorial team strives to resolve issues fairly and transparently. 7. Frequency of Publication: BJSS publishes two issues annually. The journal also considers special issues on contemporary themes within the social sciences. 8.
